It’s time to give small business entrepreneurs the recognition they deserve for making it happen!
The Trophy
The BASA Awards’ official statuette depicts a woman using all her might to reach for a star. Standing just under 40 centimetres tall and weighing 500 grams, she is designed to embody the years of hardship and unrecognised work that entrepreneurs and small businesses face before carving a space for themselves in their community. Named Atlanta, the BASA Awards® trophy’s namesake was inspired by the city where she was founded and the story of the Greek Goddess, Atlanta.
The goddess was a human huntress, symbolising courage and nobility, traits of entrepreneurs that we celebrate. The statuettes are all 100% handmade of ceramic with real gold lustre. More than 150 categories will be honoured for their achievements by the end of November 2024.
