The Best of Australia Small Business Awards are exclusively made for small businesses. The competition is fair and only allows small businesses to fairly compete with each. This competition is for small businesses in Australia to gain recognition and help them strengthen their connection with their existing or potential clients. There is no favouritism or nepotism in the BASA Awards.

The SMALL Wonders

Small businesses are the lifeblood of Australia's economy. They have tenacity and resilience despite the challenging economy globally. However, many business awards hardly acknowledge or commend small businesses. The BASA Awards focuses on small-sized entrepreneurs. There are more than 150+ categories to select, and all small businesses in Australia are welcome to hand in their nominations.

  • The Winners

    The category winners are the entries with the highest public votes and the Judges' scores. There will be 150 category winners.

  • The Finalists

    The Finalists will be all entries with a minimum score of 75% from the judges. Finalists will be admitted to the online public vote.

  • TopList

    After the public voting, all the nominations with the highest scores from public votes in each category will be ranked in the TopList.

The Prize

The panel of Judges comprises entrepreneurs and industry experts trained to evaluate entries fairly. All entries are assessed based on the track record of their performance; there is no nepotism, favoritism, or large companies' influence.

    The Startup Award is committed to identify and celebrate the best startups of the year in each industry. This category invites Small businesses that are five years old or below to apply.
